Guide Profile: Elvira Wolfer

I was born in 1960 in Switzerland where I did my education in a commercial school. For 16 years I had been working for Union Bank of Switzerland, had my dogs and did horse riding. I also obtained a diploma in animal psychology in Switzerland.

On a safari to Botswana I fell in love with Africa. That was the big change in my life and I came to Kenya in 1999 to run Bush Trucker Tours. As a German speaking safari guide I mostly accompany groups from Switzerland and Germany.

My interests: anything to do with nature, animal behaviour, conservancy, photography and guiding.

Foreign languages spoken: German.
