Born in Nairobi Kenya on 25.12.1952 Educated in Kenya, England and South Africa. Joined Ker and Downey Safaris as an apprentice hunter under John Sutton in January 1972, gained restricted Professional Hunters licence in 1974 and full Professional Hunters licence in 1975 and hunted professionally with Ker and Downey until the hunting ban in 1977. Continued guiding photographic safaris with Ker and Downey until 1980. Also skippered Deep Sea Sport fishing boats out of Pemba Channel Fishing Club, Shimoni, Kenya from 1977 to 1980. 1980 moved to Galana Game and Ranching where I managed the safari business on the Ranch up until 1989. Since then have been a free lance safari guide conducting photographic, birdshooting and fishing safaris mainly with Ker and Downey Safaris. Married to Jessica Henley and have a daughter Anikia. Interests: Natural History, fishing, bird shooting, gun dogs, and artwork in the form of drawing and watercolours.
