WILSON LOLPAPIT

Gentle and humorous, wise and knowledgeable, Wilson Lolpapit is one of the best Maasai guides in the Mara. Born in the Loita Hills, after years as naturalist and junior guide at Governor's, he became one of the very first Maasai to attain the silver level.

On game drives and game walks, he inspires confidence and transfers his contagious love for nature as a whole: not only the mammal, but birds, plants and trees. Wilson is a natural educator and he has spent some time at Saruni Samburu to train the local guides and learning about different parts of the country. Despite being quiet and unassuming, Wilson has a charisma that makes him a natural leader.
