WILSON
SIELE

Wilson
Siele was born on 30th June 1980 in Transmara District, west of
the Maasai Mara. He is a Nandi by tribe and proud of his culture
and country Kenya. He is married and blessed with a daughter.
Wilson
is a KPSGA Silver Guide ( obtained on 19th November 2009). His father's
great friend was a ranger in the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve
and through his influence Wilson developed an interest in wildlife
at an early age when he visited him during school holidays. In school
he was an active member of the Kenya Wildlife Club and never missed
any tour to the various parks and reserves.
As
a young boy he knew the vernacular names of many bird species thus
it was easy to translate this ornithological knowledge to excellence.
Wilson
was employed by Transworld Safaris from 2002 to July 2008 when he
joined Sunword Safaris. He is now a Silver Guide member of the Kenya
Professional Safari Guides Association (KPSGA). He has vast experience
with wildlife and especially birds. In March 2009 Sunworld Safaris
sponsored him for a one week birding course in Naivasha and managed
to be amongst the top five guides out of 26 when doing his exam.
He
is fluent in English, Kiswahili, basic Spanish and started his German
language course in early 2009.
The
Maasai Mara is his home, who better to welcome you to Kenya than
him!
